Luna's ideal home

Luna is a sweetheart who is on the search for a new home through no fault of her own. She’s a really gentle, calm soul and can live with children of primary school age, as long as they are happy around a large dog. Luna can also live with another dog, following a successful mix in centre prior to rehoming. While we have no history of her living with cats, she does have potential to do so given successful scent swaps and in a home that are able to keep them apart to start, with a view to building up gradual introductions.

Luna is 9 years old and came into our care having been found as a stray. We don’t know anything about her previous life but she has really tried to remain housetrained in kennels. Other aspects of home life should be introduced gradually, including time left alone. Luna is happy enough to jump into a car though, so could join her family on trips out and about. She’s a wonderful, gentle girl who can’t wait to snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy her retirement.

Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
