Bobby's ideal home

Bobby was found as a stray and can’t wait to find himself in a home. He has very limited vision and is essentially blind, though might be able to see shadows. Despite this he is very friendly. He won’t be able to live with young children, but older kids, maybe of secondary school age, who can be sensible and considerate of his sight loss would be absolutely fine. Bobby has been friendly with the dogs he has met in centre and could live with another. This would be dependent on a successful mix prior to adoption.

Bobby is a delightful, friendly, 3yr old Husky. Even though he has severe visual impairment he adapts well to new surroundings using his other senses. He enjoys human company and will often greet people excitedly before calming down. We think Bobby will be ok being left in time as he’s quite independent and he does settle well on his own. However, he will need somebody around all the time to begin with as he gets used to his new surroundings. Bobby is fully housetrained though, so with a quick refresher he should have no problems there. He’d appreciate some confidence building getting in the car, though he can be lured in with a tasty treat! Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
